We present an analysis of spectral line bisector variations for HD199719, which has been observed at the Turkish National Observatory (TUG) using the Coude Echelle Spectrograph equipped with an iodine absorption cell. We discuss their influence on precise radial velocity measurements in the search for exoplanets. The line bisectors are derived from mean absorption profiles obtained by cross correlation of the stellar spectra using a mask, and by using lines that are located outside the iodine absorption region. No radial velocity variations have been found that are associated with the bisector variations. Finally, the equivalent width (EW) measurements of the Hα were also analysed for stellar activity.
