Abstract

Em cada um dos quatro cap��tulos s��o abordados resultados de pesquisas com as esp��cies medicinais Jacaranda decurrens Cham. ssp. symmetrifoliolata Farias & Proen��a, Schinus terebinthifolius Raddi, Campomanesia adamantium Cambess. O. Berg. e Serjania marginata Casar., dentro dos seguintes temas: coleta, conserva����o, caracteriza����o e disponibiliza����o de germoplasma; implanta����o de banco de conserva����o ex situ (teste de proced��ncia); avalia����o de tratos culturais, incluindo uso de adubos verdes, res��duos org��nicos, popula����es de plantas e outros na produ����o de biomassa e de metab��litos secund��rios das plantas medicinais; extra����o e isolamento de metab��litos secund��rios; avalia����o do potencial fitot��xico e da atividade biol��gica das plantas no estado nativo e em fun����o dos diferentes tratos culturais.
