In Memoriam Asdrúbal Díaz (1949-2021)

Abstract

Asdrúbal José Díaz Quintana, nació en Barquisimeto, Lara, Venezuela, en 1949; allí realizó sus estudios primarios y secundarios; luego se traslada a Jusepín, estado Monagas, donde, en la Universidad de Oriente ‒UDO‒, Núcleo Monagas, realiza sus estudios universitarios y obtuvo el título de Ingeniero Agrónomo en 1976; posteriormente, sobre sus estudios académicos, concluye la maestría en Fitopatología en la Universidad Federal de Viçosa, Brasil en 1985, y el Doctorado lo realiza en la Universidad de Mississippi en los Estados Unidos de Norte América, finalizándolo en el año 2000..
