Inventar der Korrespondenz der Constance de Salm (1767-1845)

Abstract

Long forgotten, but rediscovered in recent years, Constance de Salm (1767-1845) was one of the most successful French writers during her lifetime. In a cataloguing and digitization project at the German Historical Institute in Paris, around 11,000 letters from her correspondence were digitised and indexed in terms of form and content. These metadata are deposited here. In addition to indexing data such as sender, recipient, date, places, they also contain keywords, a short summary as well as the first sentence of each letter in transcription. The personal names are enriched with GND and VIAF numbers, the place names with GeoNames. The metadata are in German. The first file contains the indexing data for the letters, the second file the indexing data for the other sources. The website with the digital copies as well as further explanations about the project can be found at: https://constance-de-salm.de/.
