Mecanismos de construcción identitaria de la comunidad escolar intercultural mapuche

Abstract

En el proceso de construcción de identidad, las personas negocian sus diferencias y constituyen marcos comunes que les permiten cohabitar en un espacio cotidiano, histórico y cambiante. En este escenario, se otorga sentido a las interacciones de la vida cotidiana bajo referentes comunes – identitarios - a partir de los cuales los sujetos construyen su identidad comunitaria. Nuestro objetivo es establecer los mecanismos de construcción identitaria de una comunidad escolar intercultural mapuche. Para concretar este propósito realizamos un estudio cualitativo de corte descriptivo. Este estudio adopta la perspectiva del Análisis del Discurso, las producciones discursivas de los actores sociales conforman el corpus de análisis. Los hallazgos establecen cuatro referentes del proceso de construcción identitaria de la comunidad educativa intercultural: 1) mecanismos de cohesión, 2) valores comunes, 3) formas de convivencia y 4) metas o propósitos. Los mecanismos de cohesión son aquellos elementos que articulan la comunidad en torno a un objetivo común. Los valores comunes son aquellos principios relevantes y consensuados por la comunidad que regulan su funcionamiento cotidiano. Las formas de convivencia refieren a las relaciones que se dan al interior de la comunidad educativa que favorecen el desarrollo de sus planes y proyectos. Finalmente, las metas o propósitos corresponden a las aspiraciones de la comunidad respecto de la opción educativa intercultural.
