Thienemannimyia geijskesi Goetghebuer 1934

Abstract

Thienemannimyia geijskesi (Goetghebuer, 1934) (Figs 17–20) Pentaneura geijskesi Goetghebuer, 1934: 290. Thienemannimyia geijskesi (Goetghebuer): Fittkau 1962: 184; Wang 2000: 633. Remarks. The species is described in detail by Goetghebuer (1934) and Fittkau (1962). The Chinese specimen has slightly lower LR1 0.71 (n = 1), LR2 0.58 (n = 1), LR3 0.68(n = 1) than the European specimens (LR1 0.79, LR2 0.590, LR3 0.73). The larva of the species was recorded from Liaoning Province in Palaearctic China (Wang 2000). The present paper records the species from southwest of China (Oriental region). Material examined. China: Xizang Autonomous Region, Nyalam County, Zham Town, 14.viii.1987, 1 male, light trap, C.Y. Deng.
