Abstract

Key to the World species of Pseudopimpla Habermehl The key below works equally well for males and females. 1. Area petiolaris smooth or punctate, not bordered by a carina (Figs 6–7) .................................................................. 2 -. Area petiolaris smooth and bordered by a conspicuous carina, rest of propodeum punctate (Figs. 2–5) .................. 3 2(1). Area petiolaris smooth, propodeum finely punctate anterolaterally (Fig. 6). Hind tibia short and stout, 5.5–6.5 times as long as its apical depth. Propodeal spiracle elliptic. Ovipositor tip with ripple-like teeth in the dorsal side of the upper valve (Fig. 8). Front and middle coxae light yellow ........................................................... P. glabripropodeum -. Propodeum, including area petiolaris, uniformly and strongly punctate (Fig. 7). Hind tibia long and stout, 9.4 times as long as its apical depth. Propodeal spiracle rounded. Ovipositor tip without ripple-like teeth in the dorsal side of the upper valve (Fig. 9). All coxae black ..................................................................... P. propodeumpunctata sp. nov. 3(1). Median dorsal carinae of first tergite conspicuous and reaching beyond the middle. Hind tibia blackish in its apex, white in its middle.
