OMAN: Dhofar Governorate, Al Mughsayl, env., 42 m (1653′74N 5348′97E), 28.viii.2000, M. Dellacasa leg. 1 ex. (MSNC); Qeiroon Heiritti (1716′26N 5404′96E), 27.viii.2000, M. Dellacasa leg. 1 ex. (MSNC); road 47, Adwnab env., 113 m (1655′34N 5350′56E), 5.ix.2000, M. Dellacasa leg. 2 exx. (MSNC); road 47, ante Al Mughsayl, 60 m (1654′11N 5349′20E), 11.ix.2000, M. Dellacasa leg. 2 exx. (MSNC); ibidem, 30 m (1653′01N 5346′47E), 23.ix.2001, M. Dellacasa leg. 1 ex. (MSNC). Distribution. Arabian Peninsula: Yemen (d’Orbigny 1898b). Africa: Djibouti, Somalia (d’Orbigny 1898b), Eritrea (d’Orbigny 1913a), Ethiopia (Zunino 1975). Remarks. First record for Oman. If the “ south Arabia ” by d’Orbigny is to be understood as Yemen, then the known Arabian distribution of the species has to be transferred from Saudi Arabia to Yemen.
