Holotype female, 2 female and 1 male paratypes (IRSNB), 1 female and 1 male paratypes (ZISP) from Emberiza impetuani Smith (Emberizidae), NAMIBIA: Karas, Aroab, 26°48'S 19°39'E, 19 October 1980, coll. F. S. Lukoschus. Holotype deposition. Female holotype in IRSNB (examined). Remarks. This species was described from both sexes from Emberiza impetuani Smith (Emberizidae) in Namibia (Fain et al. 1999). No other records since the original description.
