Abstract

En la actualidad la bioseguridad se est�� convirtiendo en un enfoque innovador para hacer frente a las complejas necesidades sociales y tur��sticas. El objetivo del presente art��culo es proporcionar una visi��n general de c��mo la aplicaci��n correcta de los protocolos de bioseguridad puede contribuir a la reactivaci��n econ��mica del sector Tur��stico del Cant��n Quevedo. La metodolog��a empleada, consisti�� en la recopilaci��n de fuentes de tipo primaria y secundaria, por lo que se consider�� necesaria la aplicaci��n de una encuesta dirigida a la poblaci��n de Quevedo, para determinar la aplicaci��n de los protocolos de bioseguridad por parte de cada uno de los atractivos tur��sticos y la apreciaci��n que tiene el usuario en cuanto a la ejecuci��n de estas medidas en los lugares visitados. El Ministerio de Turismo con la finalidad de reactivar el sector ha elaborado protocolos de bioseguridad, los cuales deben ser acatados por los diferentes centros tur��sticos para bridarles seguridad y confianza a los usuarios. Actualmente la flexibilizaci��n de las medidas de restricci��n permite que la poblaci��n Quevede��a visite los diferentes atractivos tur��sticos del Cant��n, los resultados obtenidos en la investigaci��n determinaron que los lugares m��s visitados en la actualidad son: Manila Park Center, Paintball, Las Caba��as de Felipao, Canopy y Ecologic Fresh, en todos ellos se puede evidenciar un nivel de cumplimiento de los protocolos de bioseguridad en nivel medio y alto; entre las medidas adoptadas para minimizar el riesgo de contagio est��n: el uso de mascarillas, desinfecci��n de manos y de calzado y toma de temperatura.
