TETRALOGIA DE FALLOT: UMA REVISÃO DOS PRINCIPAIS MÉTODOS DIAGNÓSTICOS E ABORDAGENS TERAPÊUTICAS NA PEDIATRIA

Abstract

A Tetralogia de Fallot pode ser classificada como uma cardiopatia congênita cianótica, e configura-se como uma das principais cardiopatias congênitas em crianças no mundo, sendo responsável por cerca de 10% das anormalidades cardíacas congênitas. Caracteriza-se pela existência de quatro alterações anatômicas distintas: defeito do septo interventricular, cavalgamento da aorta sobre o septo interventricular, estenose pulmonar e hipertrofia ventricular direita.
