ÖZET Multipl sistem atrofi (MSA) erişkin yaşta başlayan, ilerleyici, serebellar ataksinin yanısıra parkinsonizm, ürogenital fonksiyon bozukluğu ve otonom yetmezlik görülebilen nörodejeneratif nadir bir hastalıktır. MSA’nın semptomatik cerrahi tedavisinde genel cerrahi, kulak-burun-boğaz ve üroloji ana bilim dallarını içeren disiplinler arası yaklaşım şarttır. Bu makalede MSA hastalığının semptomatik tedavisinde rolü olan cerrahi girişimler tartışılmaktadır. MSA presents with cerebellar ataxia, parkinsonism, urogenital dsyfunction and autonomic failure. The symptomatic surgical treatment of MSA can be achieved by interdisciplinary approach with the cooperation of general surgery, ear-nose-throat and urology departments. In this article, the role of surgical interventions in the symptomatic treatment of MSA disease is discussed.
