GALPÃO DE TRIAGEM DE COLETA SELETIVA

Abstract

In Brazil, traces of recycling were registered in 1896 when “garbage” collectors had orders to send bottles, irons, sheets and other materials to factories and places where they would be reused. But concerns about the problems caused by excessive “garbage” in the environment gained strength in 1920 due to the agglomerations and disclosures that were being carried out by foreign countries that carried out the recycling of “garbage”, in which the interest was actually linked the economic yield that recycling resulted. Currently, the country generates around 195 million kg of solid waste per day, which results in approximately 55 trillion kg per year, values that correspond to approximately 1.15 kg generated daily by each Brazilian. Through this analysis, it is possible to see the problems generated if all this “garbage” is discarded from the environment, however, the country is very attentive to these issues and carries out the recycling of a large part of it. To give you an idea, they are 94% recycled aluminum; 77% recycled cardboard; 50% of recycled Long Life packaging, among others that result in great benefits for the country, for example, in saving electricity during the production of products with recycled raw materials.
