Abstract

El artículo tiene por objetivo determinar el impacto económico y social de la pandemia COVID-19 sobre el mercado regional peruano. Para lograr tal fin, la investigación asumió dos enfoques metodológicos. Por un lado, el enfoque cuantitativo, orientado por un diseño correlacional, donde se aplicó el cuestionario como instrumento de validación en una población de 51 microempresarios, presentando a considerar: 1. Las habilidades gerenciales, donde se recolectaron datos de las dimensiones: experiencia en actividades y servicios, educación, y habilidades personales propuestas por Griffin & Fleet (2015). 2. En el nivel de ventas, los datos reportan información de las dimensiones: situación de ventas, problemas e implicaciones de las de ventas, así como la necesidad de beneficio basadas en el planteamiento de Sant (2013). Por otro lado, asume un enfoque teórico-filosófico, donde se evalúan las incidencias de la globalización y el capitalismo sobre el mercado regional latinoamericano, lo cual, acompañado de la presencia del COVID-19, han profundizado las desigualdades sociales, la marginalización de sectores de la población y la explotación laboral. La articulación de estos métodos permite concluir en la necesidad de interconectar el sector microempresarial con la realidad social de las comunidades, devolviendo al trabajo la condición humana que la globalización hegemónica le ha restado.
