
Scientists around the world are facing the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to find a vaccine, a number of investigations are being carried out, which must be based on good practices and ethical principles, to maintain a high scientific integrity in order to avoid scientific misconduct and fraud, so in this essay the causes of retraction are analyszed such as plagiarism, falsification, incorrect bibliography, invented results, infodemic and conflicts of interest, the work of the good scientific community is also highlighted and next to it the objective of the ethics committees, that help to maintain an order of integrity towards scientific information with ethical and bioethical reflections.
