Leucophenga nigripalpis Duda (Figs 3 A, 3B, 4J, 8) Leucophenga nigripalpis Duda, 1924: 188; Okada, 1989: 808. Diagnosis. This species is somewhat similar to L. magnipalpis in the patterns of abdominal tergites (Fig. 4 J), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the mesonotum yellow (Fig. 3 A), and the pleura yellow, with brown patches above (Fig. 3 B). Description. Male and female: Frons yellow to yellowish brown. Pedicel mostly yellowish brown; first flagellomere yellow. Palpus dark brown in male, black in female. Acrostichal setulae in ca. 14–16 irregular rows (Fig. 3 A). Postpronotal lobe yellow (Fig. 3 B). Scutellum brown along basal margin, brownish yellow medially, pale along distal margin (Fig. 3 A). Halter white (Fig. 3 B). Abdominal tergites yellow, with brown patches (Fig. 4 J). Male terminalia: Epandrium with 3 setae near posterior margin and 5 setae on ventral corner per side (Fig. 8 A). Paramere with ca. 5 sensilla subapically (Fig. 8 B). Aedeagus slender basally, with pubescence on distal 1/3 (Fig. 8 B). Measurements.
