Animação como recurso audiovisual para divulgação científica da paleoparasitologia para crianças

Abstract

A Paleoparasitologia foi uma linha de pesquisa nomeada por um pesquisador brasileiro Dr. Luiz Fernando Ferreira (1936-2018). Essa ciência estuda a evolução da vida na terra por meio dos parasitos e microrganismos, e para isso pesquisa materiais como múmias, âmbar, coprólito, dentre outros, tendo assim o potencial de atrair a atenção do público infanto-juvenil. A animação tem se mostrado como um recurso áudio visual que pode impactar positivamente o processo de alfabetização científica. Assim, na Universidade Federal Fluminense, onde essa linha de pesquisa é desenvolvida no Programa de Pós-graduação em Microbiologia e Parasitologia Aplicadas, criamos um projeto de extensão denominado “Paleoparasitologia para Todos” que é oferecido anualmente desde 2017, onde além de oficinas nas escolas para divulgação científica desta linha de pesquisa e suas descobertas, desenvolvemos vários materiais paradidáticos de acesso aberto, depositados no repositório institucional da UFF https://app.uff.br/riuff/ e também no nosso blog https://paleoparasitologiaparatodos.wordpress.com/. Agora estamos desenvolvendo animações para divulgar pesquisas paleoparasitológicas para o público infantil, duas já foram criadas e duas estão em andamento, e se encontram no canal no YouTube do projeto https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCH1S2h0iG94DmYmNNZ1gsVQ.
