Abstract

Ce texte est le compte-rendu d'un entretien réalisé avec Elisabetta Cunegatti, artiste et éditrice. Il s'agit donc d'en apprendre plus sur sa pratique de l'édition et de l'imprimé, au sein de sa production plastique. Cet entretien est à mettre en parallèle avec d'autres entretiens, comprenant des questions similaires posées à d'autres professionnels travaillant dans le domaine de l'édition, à différents niveaux. Ces entretiens ont deux buts : mettre en évidence les différences de gestion et de considération des fonds fanzines/graphzines/zines entre différents types de lieux et différents types de collections (notamment les différences entre collections publiques et collections privées), et en apprendre plus sur la manière qu'ont les artistes et les photographes d'appréhender l'édition comme médium artistique. Certains entretiens concernent uniquement des éditeurs de zines qui ne sont pas forcément artistes, mais chercheurs ou journalistes, ceci afin de nourrir une réflexion sur le contexte et le paysage actuel des zines indépendants. L'auteure est actuellement en doctorat Arts Plastiques, première année. Le sujet de la thèse porte sur les évolutions des esthétiques des fanzines et des zines en lien avec les évolutions sociétales et culturelles, ainsi que sur les rapports entretenus par ces médiums avec les notions de collection, d'exposition, d'archivage, et leurs implications au sein des éditions d'artistes et de l'art contemporain.
