RESUMEN Se propone la posible implicación del polietilenglicol (PEG) en las miocarditis descritas como reacciones adversas para las vacunas anti COVID-19, a través de reacciones de hipersensibilidad mediadas por anticuerpos anti-PEG con activación del complemento. SUMMARY The possible implication of polyethylene glycol (PEG) in myocarditis described as adverse reactions for anti-COVID-19 vaccines is proposed, through hypersensitivity reactions mediated by anti-PEG antibodies with complement activation.
