As práticas de ciência aberta dos periódicos científicos correntes da Biblioteca Digital de Periódicos da Universidade Federal do Paraná

Abstract

Compreende a ciência aberta como movimento de abertura e transparência do processo de comunicação científica e os periódicos científicos são atores importantes nesse contexto. Objetiva conhecer o status das práticas de Ciência Aberta nos periódicos científicos correntes da Biblioteca Digital de Periódicos da Universidade Federal do Paraná sob a perspectiva dos seus editores. Desenvolve uma pesquisa exploratória, quantitativa e qualitativa com aplicação do questionário como instrumento de coleta de dados para avaliar as práticas da Ciência Aberta adotadas pelos editores científicos quanto às dimensões de: publicações em acesso aberto, gestão de dados científicos de pesquisa, revisão aberta por pares, licenciamento do conteúdo, a adoção de métricas alternativas e aceitação de preprints. O acesso aberto, o uso de licenças Creative Commons e as métricas alternativas são as práticas de ciência aberta mais comuns para os periódicos científicos da UFPR. A análise do grau de importância atribuído pelos editores evidencia que os editores são reticentes em relação às práticas de aceite de preprints, revisão por pares aberta e publicação de artigos de dados. Há espaço para as equipes editoriais e os gestores da biblioteca digital explorarem de forma mais direta as práticas de ciência aberta.
