Waldzustandsbericht 2021 für Sachsen-Anhalt

Abstract

Die Ergebnisse der Waldzustandserhebung 2021 belegen eine anhaltend hohe Belastungssituation der Wälder in Sachsen-Anhalt. Durch die extremen Witterungsbedingungen der Jahre 2018-2020 sind die Schäden in den letzten Jahren außergewöhnlich hoch und auch 2021 zeigt sich kaum eine Abschwächung des Schadensverlaufs. Im Vegetationsjahr 2020/2021 war es im Vergleich zur Klimaperiode 1961-1990 erneut zu warm. Die Niederschlagsbilanz fiel im Flächenmittel ausgeglichen aus, allerdings waren die Niederschläge ungleich verteilt. Während es im Südosten des Landes in der Vegetationszeit überdurchschnittlich feucht war, haben sich die Bodenwasservorräte in weiten Teilen der Mitte und des Nordens noch nicht erholt. Weitere Themen im diesjährigen Waldzustandsbericht sind: Forstliches Umweltmonitoring; Witterung und Klima; Insekten und Pilze; Stoffeinträge; Anpasssungspotenziale heimischer Baumarten; Wachstum von Eiche, Buche, Fichte und Kiefer im Klimawandel; Waldmoore und Lössboden.
