Este artículo analiza los vínculos entre el pensamiento de Aby Warburg y la obra de Joan Jonas, los cuales se pueden identificar con claridad en unos de sus últimos performances: The Shape, the scents, the feel of things (2006), en donde, Warburg figura como protagonista. Adicionalmente, este artículo también revisa la obra anterior de Jonas para encontrar en ella una serie de significantes, motivos y procesos coherentes que posibilitan entender el trasfondo de una operación de apropiación que resitúa el pensamiento de Warburg en el espacio simbólico trazado por Jonas entre cuerpo y territorio.
