APLICAÇÃO DE FERRAMENTAS DE MELHORIA CONTINUA DA QUALIDADE NA ANÁLISE DE PAPELÃO ONDULADO: ESTUDO DE CASO

Abstract

O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar o processo da produção do papelão ondulado, desde as tomadas de decisões por meio de ferramentas de melhoria contínua, até a compreensão de dados obtidos por testagens, tais habilidades devem fazer parte da rotina ativa do gestor da produção industrial. A metodologia utilizada foi o estudo de caso, em uma empresa quarta colocada no Brasil deste segmento. Após o não atendimento de uma requisição para teste de Cobb <=15g/m², foi estruturado um grupo de estudo para compreender o fenômeno, foram verificadas as causas raízes do problema deste trabalho e consequentemente sugeridas às medidas de contenção para redução ou minimização dos problemas de qualidade. Os ensaios do método de Cobb juntamente com as ferramentas da qualidade foram essenciais para um melhor entendimento do problema estudado. O trabalho conjunto das ferramentas diagrama de Ishikawa, 5 Por Quês e 5W+2H permitem uma maior clareza para as tomadas de decisão. Portando é de grande relevância sua utilização dentro dos processos cujas causas dos problemas são subjetivas, pois elas subsidiam os grupos de estudos a uma análise mais profunda do fenômeno estudado.
