This release contains a tutorial that describes how videos/images can be annotated in Photoshop. This includes a description of how video frames can be imported into Photoshop as layers, how these layers can then be annotated in Photoshop, aided by the Photoshop tools, and how the annotated images can be exported. This release further contains two functions (for R and Matlab), with which the annotated images can be analysed. When provided with the RGB code of the labels used for the categories in the annotated images, the PercentCover-function calculates the percentage of cover of each category in each image. Some videos have laser dots to show the scale of the image. When provided with the RGB code of the label used to annotate these laser dots, the ImageArea-function calculates the size of the image. Script.R contains an example of how to use the R-functions to calculate percent cover and image area. (c) Anna-Selma van der Kaaden & Laurence H. De Clippele October 2021
