Abstract

Da muss jede:r durch, im Schönen wie im Hässlichen: die Schule. Seit den Reformansätzen des frühen 20. Jahrhunderts wurden die Klassenräume zu Laboratorien einer heilen, einer besseren Welt stilisiert. Vom Baubeamten bis zur Stararchitektin haben sich in den letzten Jahrzehnten viele an dieser großen Aufgabe versucht – mit bemerkenswerten Ergebnissen. Das moderneREGIONAL-Herbstheft „Moderne bildet“ (Redaktion: M. Kraemer/A. Vinzenz) stellt lesens- und sehenswerte Beispiele vor, die Schularchitektur des 20. Jahrhunderts zu erforschen, zu bewahren und an die nächste Generation zu vermitteln. Die Rechte für die einzelnen Textbeiträge liegen bei den Autor:innen, die Bildrechte sind jeweils am Bild selbst angegeben. Die einzelnen Heftbeiträge sind (in der jeweils aktuellen Form) online zugänglich.
