Abstract

Nær innrauð litrofsgreining (NIR) er tækni sem metur gleypni efnatengja í hráefni. Það er hvaða efnatengi eru í hráefninu og á hvaða bylgjusviði. Þessar upplýsingar er hægt að nota og bera saman við in vivo raunmælingar og fá þannig spá fyrir ýmsa þætti í hráefni. Þar má nefna, efnainnihald hráefnis, meltanleika næringarefna, samsetningu næringarefna á borð við amínósýrur og fitusýrur svo eitthvað sé nefnt. NIR tæki gefur raunar fingrafar hráefnisins. Þessi skýrsla fjallar um notkun á NIR og dregur fram stöðu þekkingar. Fjallar verður um ferlið við gerð NIR spálíkans, hvað ber að varast og hafa í huga. Vitnað er í tilraunir þar sem að NIR spálíkön hafa verið þróuð fyrir ýmis hráefni og dýrategundir og lagt mat á nákvæmni slíkra líkana. _____ Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR) is a technology that measures the absorption of chemical bonds in materials. This information can be used and compared with in vivo actual measurements to get a prediction for various aspects of materials. This includes the chemical content of organic raw materials, the digestibility of nutrients through animals, the composition of amino acids and fatty acids to name a few. This report discusses the use of NIR and highlights the state of knowledge. Covers the process of making a NIR model and the pros and cons of different methods. The report discusses existing research where NIR models have been developed for various raw materials and animal species and evaluates the accuracy of those models.
