Abstract

Con el objetivo de analizar la biodiversidad de los arrecifes de coral, específicamente de la fauna marina bentónica, este manual fue realizado por un grupo de expertos taxónomos para guiar el adecuado tratamiento y preservación de organismos asociados a estructuras autónomas de monitoreo arrecifal (ARMS) y así para su inclusión en colecciones científicas. Este manual fue producido en colaboración con el proyecto Biodiversidad Marina de Yucatán, la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, el Smithsonian Institution y la Escuela Nacional de Estudios Superiores.
