In this article, a numerical simulation framework for flow control during dynamic stall is developed. The fluid flow numerical simulation is conceived by following the standard incompressible flow. Additionally, the plasma actuator thermal effects on the flow are modelled using literature data. This thermal model is included in the numerical simulation using a Boussinesq approximation, a low-Mach version of the Navier-Stokes equations which only accounts for temperature gradients in the flow.
