Abstract

Die interdisziplinäre Initiative „Forschungsdatenmanagement“ (FDM) hat das Ziel, alle an der Berlin-Brandenburgischen Akademie der Wissenschaften (BBAW) generierten Forschungsdaten zu ordnen, zu sichern und langfristig verfügbar zu halten. Über einen Stakeholder-orientierten Ansatz wird eine einheitliche FDM-Strategie entwickelt, welche die lückenlose Betreuung aller Projekte und Vorhaben sichert. Die Initiative sucht proaktiv das Gespräch mit den WissenschaftlerInnen um frühzeitig Kontakt aufzubauen und den aktuellen Stand des Datenmanagements abzufragen. Gemeinsam mit den weiteren Beteiligten (IT, DH-Einheit, Archiv, Bibliothek) wird mit jedem Vorhaben ein lokal angepasster Datenmanagementplan (DMP) mittels eines Fragenkatalogs in RDMO (Research Data Management Organiser) erstellt. So werden Vereinbarungen und Maßnahmen explizit festgehalten, die zur Datenqualität beitragen, das Risiko des Datenverlustes verringern oder die Veröffentlichung der Daten betreffen. Ziel ist es, die sichere Aufbewahrung und Zugänglichmachung des kulturellen Erbes zu unterstützen, das im Rahmen der Akademienvorhaben teils über Jahrzehnte erforscht, erschlossen und bearbeitet wird. Flankiert wird das Angebot der kollaborativen DMP-Erstellung von einem Beratungs- und Schulungsangebot der Initiative. Die Summe der systematisch abgefragten Informationen aus allen Datenmanagementplänen dient der BBAW außerdem als Wissensbasis, ermöglicht dadurch ein passgenaues Vorgehen und ist der weiteren Strategieentwicklung dienlich.
