7. Trithemis arteriosa Burm. Espèce habitant exclusivement toute l'Afrique, qui remonte jusque dans les oasis algeriens 0ù elle aime à se poser sur les piquets et les branches sèches, à la manière de Diplaa: sanguínea. Prise en juin et juillet sur les lacs Tonga et Oubeïra.
