Psammophis subtaeniatus Peters, 1882 Material (one specimen): One adult (MHNCUP/ REP 175, formerly UP-MHNFCP-094980; Fig. S68), collected from Mossamedes [=Moçâmedes] [-15.20000º, 12.15000º, 24 m a.s.l.] Namibe Province, date unknown. Comments: Psammophis subtaeniatus occurs from southern Angola and northern Namibia all the way to western Mozambique, as well as eastern Eswatini and northeastern South Africa (Marques et al. 2018). This is the first published record for the coastal region of Namibe Province. Recently, Butler et al. (2019) and Baptista et al. (2019) reported specimens from Huila Province, namely “Bicuar National Park, Matunto” and “Carmira Farm”, respectively.
