The PARADISE project aims to deliver informative typing schemes and innovative detection strategies applicable to food matrices for the food-borne parasites Cryptosporidium and Giardia. These new methodologies will form the basis for integrated approaches to control Cryptosporidium and Giardia in the European food chain. This deliverable D-JRP-PARADISE-WP3.2 reports on work carried out to address the one of the objectives of PARADISE work-package 3, namely development of multi-locus typing schemes for C. parvum and G. duodenalis.
