Papilio Eques Trojanus eurimedes, Stoll, 1782b: 2 [No. 38]. Material examined. Syntype ♂, with van Lennep label ‘No. 38. EURIMEDES Cr. IV. 386. E. F.’ and Felder label ‘ Surinam Coll. Lenep’ (BMNH (E)#665199); there is some damage to the thorax and it has had a few repairs and touches of paint. Original plate 349, figs C, C is highly stylized, but is otherwise a good match. Current status. Valid species in Parides (Häuser et al., 2003).
