MATÉRIEL EXAMINÉ. — Nimba: plateau de Zouguépo, vers 750 mètres d’altitude, piège lumineux, 18.III.1981. L’habitus, mais aussi sa robustesse, permet d’identifier facilement ce grand Propsephus qui est originaire du Kivu et du Kibali-Ituri dans l’ex-Zaïre. La découverte de cette rare espèce, qui n’avait jamais été retrouvée dans une autre région forestière de l’Afrique, souligne bien la richesse du peuplement d’Élatérides du mont Nimba.
