Propsephus athoides ¢ Schenkling 1925: 93. 3 individus: Lamotte et Roy, 1951; Lamotte, Amiet et Vanderplaetsen, 1956-1957. MATÉRIEL EXAMINÉ. — Nimba: Ziéla, à la lumière, 10-20.XI.1951 et 1.II.1957. Originaire de l’Angola, Il apparaît aujourd’hui bien plus largement répandu qu’on le supposait, et il se pourrait même qu’il vive dans toutes les grandes zones forestières de l’Afrique intertropicale. Il a été repris à maintes reprises au Zaïre, mais aussi au Zimbabwe. Il n’était pas encore connu de l’Afrique occidentale et sa découverte dans les forêts de piedmont du Nimba agrandit considérablement son aire de répartition.
