Rhinopsephus impressicollis

Abstract

Rhinopsephus impressicollis (Schwarz, 1899) Psephus impressicollis Schwarz, 1899: 71. Lectotype ♀ du Cameroun (IFPBE). Rhinopsephus impressicollis ¢ Schwarz 1906: 82. 2 individus: Lamotte, 1942. MATÉRIEL EXAMINÉ. — Nimba: Yalanzou; camp 4 à 1000 mètres d’altitude (à la lumière), II-VI.1942. C’est une espèce assez robuste et ses articles antennaires sont nettement carénés. Elle est décrite d’après des exemplaires provenant du Cameroun. Elle semble rare et n’avait encore jamais été récoltée en dehors des limites géographiques de son pays d’origine. Sa présence au Nimba est intéressante et agrandit notablement sa distribution en Afrique de l’Ouest.
