Abstract

Favulina squamosa (Montagu, 1803) (Figs 2 J-P; 3A, B) Vermiculum squamosum Montagu, 1803: 526, pl. 14, fig. 2. Lagena hexagona forma squamosa – Buchner 1940: 433, pl. 5, fig. 73. LOCALITÉS. — Brest-LRK2 (Finistère), Mernel (Ille-et-Vilaine), la Groussinière (Ille-et-Vilaine), Auxais, Marchésieux (Manche). MATÉRIEL EXAMINÉ. — Échantillon Brest-LRK2 2, 30 m (référence 793 coll. JPM, 25 spécimens); échantillon Mernel S 214 8,50 m (référence 794 coll. JPM, 22 spécimens); échantillon la Groussinière S15 24,34 -27,40 m (référence 795 coll. JPM, 17 spécimens); échantillon Auxais T47 12,00-14,00 m (référence 796 coll. JPM, sept spécimens); échantillon La Longue Séquence de Marchésieux F 10,00 m (référence 797 coll. JPM, huit spécimens). DESCRIPTION Test piriforme de petite taille, à section circulaire, orné d’une réticulation polygonale serrée et pourvu dans sa partie orale d’un tube court; paroi calcaire à structure radiaire et finement perforée; petite ouverture ronde; endoanulus à stries radiales situé à la base du canal oral. REMARQUES Knight (1986) parle de plexus à propos de « Oolina » squamosa se référant à des tests caractérisés par une ornementation réticulée en échelle qui ne correspond pas à la figuration de Montagu et par un endosolen évasé à la base. Cette espèce est à rattacher au genre Pseudofavulina n. gen.
