M a t e r i a l (bisher noch nicht gemeldet): Indien: 1: Arunachal Pradesh: Hapoli, 29.V.2006, Rougemont (cRougemont). Burma: 2: Shan province, Namshan, 1600 m, 18.-20.II.1996, Kurbatov (MHNG, cP). Laos: Phongsaly province, env. Phongsaly, ca. 1500 m, 21 o 41.2 N, 102 o 06.8 E, 28.V.-20.VI.2003, Kubáň (NHMB). China: Yunnan: 1: Ruili, 4.II.1993, Rougemont (cRougemont); 1, 3: Diqing Tibet Aut. Pref., Deqin Co., Meili Xue Shan, E-side, 14 km W Deqin, 2580 m, 28 o 27.47 N, 98 o 46.35 E, creek valley below glacier, mixed forest, leaf litter, moss, decyed wood, sifted, 11.VI.2005, Schülke (cSchülke, cP). Stenus calcariventris ist aus Nordindien beschrieben, inzwischen aber auch aus Nepal, Burma, Laos und China (Yunnan, Guangzi) bekannt geworden. Die Untersuchung dieses Materials und der Typenserie des S. guenai zeigt, dass die zu S. calcariventris angegebenen Unterschiede in die Variationsbreite dieses Taxons fallen. Die Spermatheka des S. calcariventris besteht aus einem längeren, schmaltubigen Infundibulum und einem winzigen, sich daran anschliessenden, zweikugeligen Schlauch; sie ist nur bei sorgfältigster Präparation überhaupt zu finden!
