Protaetia speciosissima

Abstract

Protaetia speciosissima (SCOPOLI, 1786) M a t e r i a l: Klagenfurt, Maierniggalpe, aus Komposthaufen, 8.9.2014, leg. D. Dauber. Der Käfer (Männchen) konnte vom Verfasser bis 5.7.2015 mit Apfelstückchen und ähnlichem am Leben erhalten werden. In Rote Listen Kärnten Gefährdungsstufe 1 (vom Aussterben bedroht). Kontinentale Art, meidet den atlantischen Bereich; an alte Laubbäume gebunden. Larve im Mulm alter Eichen, Entwicklung dreijährig; Käfer auch auf blühendem Gesträuch an sonnigen Waldrändern. Im OLML gibt es übrigens keine Belege für Oberösterreich.
