Pionus corallinus Bonaparte, 1854 Pionus corallinus Bonaparte, 1854: 148. IDENTITÉ. — Pionus sordidus corallinus Bonaparte, 1854. SPÉCIMEN TYPE. — Syntype: C.G. 1853-474 (A.C. 1241; N.C. 112). — Inscriptions sous le socle: Nelle Grenade / M. Fontanier / 1853 – nº 474. 1241 / Pionias [sic] corallinus / Bp. / Type. — Étiquette du socle: Pionias [sic] corallinus / (Bp.) Type / M. Fontanier Colombie. LOCALITÉ TYPE. — Est de la Colombie (Peters 1937). REMARQUES Bonaparte (1854) précise: «Mus. par. et Verreauxorum ». Il y avait donc un ou plusieurs spécimens au MNHN ainsi que chez les frères J. et E. Verreaux, marchands et collectionneurs. Le spécimen C.G. 1853-474 est le seul qui nous soit parvenu.
