Type-species: Harmosternus anthracinus Gahan, 1890 (by monotypy). Elateropsis Chevrolat, 1862b: 269 Type-species: Cerambyx lineatus Linnaeus, 1758 (by subsequent designation Thomson, 1864: 276). Holonotus Thomson, 1861: 304 Type-species: Holonotus latithorax Thomson, 1861 (by subsequent designation Thomson, 1864: 276). [= Solenoptera laevithorax White, 1853]. Prosternodes Thomson, 1861: 288, 307 Type-species: Solenoptera cinnamipennis Chevrolat, 1838 (by subsequent designation Thomson, 1864: 276).
