Parajungiella pseudolongicornis CR

Abstract

Parajungiella pseudolongicornis (Wagner, 1975) (CR) Published records. Citonice, Čížov, Horní Břečkov, Fládnická chata hut, Lesná (JEŽEK 2003), Hnanice, Horní Břečkov, Čížovský rybník pond, Faltýskův Mlýn, Devět Mlýnů (JEŽEK et al. 2005). Material examined. Citonice, Na hájkách (8), 2 JJ, v., Inv. No. 6057 and 6062; Čížov, rills (15), J, v., Inv. No. 6039; Hnanice, Devět Mlýnů (16), J, vi., Inv. No. 8349; Vranov nad Dyjí, Lesná (31), 2 JJ, v., Inv. No. 6023 and 6025. Comment. A rare species, recorded only from Great Britain, Ireland, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia. It occurs in habitats with decaying organic matter (ponds, brooks, meanders of rivers, rills and swamps). Critically endangered in the Czech Republic.
