Yamamoto [p] // Copris / yamamoti J / m. n. [hw] Det. Tesař [p] // Typus [p, red label]’. SYNTYPE (♀): ‘Matuo, Iwateken / Japan / Coll. Tesař [p] // Copris / ♀ yamamoti / m. n. [hw] Det. Tesař [p] // Typus [p, red label]’. Current status. Junior subjective synonym of Copris (Sinocopris) pecuarius Lewis, 1884, see NAKANE & TSUKAMOTO (1955) and OCHI et al. (2009). Remark. Although the species-group name is spelled as ‘ yamamoti ’ on Tesař’ s identification label, it was published under the species-group name ‘ yamamotoi ’.
