Abstract

Aus dem Einleitungskapitel «Ursina Jaeger gibt mit ihrem Beitrag [...] Einblick in ein Forschungsprojekt, in welchem Diversität als komplexe und dynamische Konfiguration sozialer Zugehörigkeiten verstanden wird, und Grenzziehungen sowie Grenzüberschreitungen und deren Konsequenzen für die je involvierten Felder sozialer Ordnungen analysiert werden. Orte der Kindheit bestimmen sich dabei sowohl über physische Lokalität als auch über soziale Positionen. Deren Verfasstheit wurde empirisch erschlossen, indem Kinder durch die Ethnografin teilnehmend beobachtend in ihrem Alltag begleitet wurden. Der Text verbindet die Narration über die changierenden Zugehörigkeiten der Kinder mit der Reflexion der Spannungsmomente innerhalb der teilnehmenden Beobachtung, die sich nicht zuletzt wesentlich aus den Grenzüberschreitungen in ihrer ‹wahrgenommenen Beobachtetheit› ergeben und die es in einer sich wandelnden Kind-Forscherin-Beziehung (aus-)zu halten gilt.» [14]
