Trox (Omorgus) fenestrellus Balthasar, 1939 Trox (Omorgus) fenestrellus Balthasar, 1939: 34. Current status. Afromorgus fenestrellus (Balthasar, 1939), see PITTINO (2006). On the other hand, SCHOLTZ (1979) regarded it as a junior subjective synonym of Afromorgus melancholicus (Fåhraeus, 1857). Remark. The species was described according to a holotype specimen from the collection of V. Balthasar (BALTHASAR 1939). However, there is no mention of this species in the Balthasar’s collection, and we were not able to trace the type specimen in NMPC.
