Hambletonia pseudococcina Compere, 1936 Comments. NOYES (2016) records this species from Japan citing TACHIKAWA (1980b) as the source. However, TACHIKAWA (1980b) states, that H. pseudococcina was reared from Dysmicoccus brevipes (Cockerell, 1893) imported from Taiwan to Yokohama. Since then, H. pseudococcina has not been recorded from Japan, and we preferred to exclude it from its fauna.
