Abstract

Mezira consimilis Hoberlandt, 1967 Brachyrhynchus consimilis Hoberlandt, 1967b: 143–144, Fig. 11 (original description), 147 (key). The holotype is deposited in NMPC: HOLOTYPE (J): ‘Serra do Moco / Luimbale [hw] / Angola [p] 10.IX.49 [hw] / A. B. Machado lgt. [p] // Serra do Moco / LUIMBALE / vertente do Calupiango / 10. IX. 1949 [hw, soft paper, folded into fourths] // Holotypus [p] J / Mezira / consimilis, n. sp. [hw] / Det. L. Hoberlandt, 19[p]65 [hw, red label]’. (Specimen card-mounted; right antennal segment IV and mesotarsus missing.) Current status. Valid species: Brachyrhynchus consimilis (Hoberlandt, 1967) (see KORMILEV & FROESCHNER 1987).
