Madagascar. [p] / Mt.Tsaratanana, 2000 m. forêt de / bambou à la limite de la forêt / de mousses X–49 RP [hw] // Holotypus [p] J / Mezira / bicolor n.sp. [hw] / Det. L. Hoberlandt, 19[p]61 [hw, red label]’. (Specimen card-mounted; right antennal segments III and IV detached, glued separately on the same label; right protarsus missing.) PARATYPE (J): ‘Inst. Scient. Madagascar. [p] / Mt.Tsaratanana a 1300 m / Forêt de mousses / R.P. / X–49 [hw] // Paratypus [p] J / Mezira / bicolor n. sp. [hw] / Det. L. Hoberlandt, 19[p]61 [hw, red label] // Mus. Nat. Pragae [p] / 11089 [hw] / Inv. [p, orange label]’. Current status. Valid species (see KORMILEV & FROESCHNER 1987, HEISS 2012).
