49. Theognete trusterae Anderson, new species (Figures 140, 175, 210) Diagnosis. Size. Length, male, 3.03–3.37mm; female, 3.12–3.63mm. Width, male, 1.79–2.04mm; female, 1.79–2.13mm. As for T. campbelli but pronotum with moderately large distinct punctures. Male tergite VIII emarginate in middle. Aedeagus as in Fig. 175. Geographical distribution. Honduras (Lempira). Natural history. Collected from berlese extraction of pure liquidambar forest leaf litter at an elevation of 1600m. Derivation of specific name. Through his support of the Nature Discovery Fund at the Canadian Museum of Nature, this species is named after Rose Betty Truster of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, as a gift from Robert A. Findlay. Material examined. 61♂, 45♀♀ (BNMH, CMNC, CWOB, EAPZ, USNM, UVGC). Holotype ♂ (CMNC): HONDURAS: Lempira. 13.1km.N.E. & 8.3km. E. Gracias, Cerro Puca, 1600m, 18.VI.1994 -123 A, R. Anderson, liquidambar forest litter berlese / HOLOTYPE ♂, Theognete trusterae sp. nov., R.S. Anderson. Aedeagus extracted. Paratypes: HONDURAS. Lempira. Gracias (13.1km.N.E. & 8.3km.E.), Cerro Puca, 1600m, 18.VI.1994 -123, R. Anderson, liquidambar forest litter berlese (61♂, 46♀♀ BNMH, CMNC, CWOB, EAPZ, USNM, UVGC). Chorological relationships. Not sympatric with any other species of Theognete.
