Distribution in Bulgaria: Petrich, Burgas, Maslen Nos Cape [1]; Grudovo (Burgas Region) [2]; Asenovgrad, Harmanli [3]; Belogradchik, Karlovo, Gabrovo, Tvarditsa, Botevgrad, Godech, Teteven [4]. Remarks: Fringilla montifringilla L. is known as host of Brueelia glizi Balát, 1955. The lice collected from this host and identified as B. cyclothorax by Touleshkov (1961a) have not been found and their identification remains questionable.
